Woke Up in Alaska

I woke up in Alaska.  How I got here I haven’t a clue.  The last thing I remember is you telling me we were through.  So I just drank my heart away sold all my real-estate.  I told the driver to take me to Timbuktu, but I ended up in the City of Chickaloon.  Population two hundred ninety-two.

The pain of how you left me quickly left my chest

as a rafting guide handed me a life vest.

He said please be seated for up ahead are some fast rapids.

I was circled by mountains and a beauty of true bliss.

Surrounded by guys all asking me questions.

Then the rapids hit.  I lost my grip and I flipped in.

I woke up in Alaska.  How I got here I haven’t a clue.  The last thing I remember is you telling me we were through.  So I just drank my heart away.  I sold all my real-estate.  I told the driver to take me to Timbuktu, but I ended up in the City of Chickaloon.  Population two hundred ninety-two.

I was dazed and embarrassed for a quick second.

The guys looked so worried about my condition.

Normally, I would have milked it, but today I was center stage.

I must have fallen in at least 20 more times that day.

Guys were fighting for my attention like Mantenuska

I took their breath away.

I woke up in Alaska.  How I got here I haven’t a clue.  The last thing I remember is you telling me we were through.  So I just drank my heart away sold all my real-estate.  Told the driver to take me to Timbuktu, but I ended up in the City of Chickaloon.  Population two hundred ninety-two.

Oh Alaska I'm in heaven.   Alaska I'm in heaven.  Oh, Alaska I'm in heaven with you.

I woke up in Alaska.  How I got here I haven’t a clue.  The last thing I remember is you telling me we were through.  So I just drank my heart away sold all my real-estate.  Told the driver to take me to Timbuktu, but I ended up in the City of Chickaloon.  Population two hundred ninety----------------------three.
