Save All Those Kisses featuring Tony Pulizzi

(Tony Pulizzi's Guitar Solo)

My son went to daycare.  He wouldn't let me give him a kiss goodbye.  When I picked him up, he was hugging his daycare teacher.  I was not happy.  How could he tell me, me his mother, not to kiss him and then let his daycare teacher do it?  That's how the song started.

Featuring a solo guitar part by Tony Pulizzi.

Save All Those Kisses for Me

He sailed over the horizon in a morning breeze.

I don’t know when he’ll be back,

but I’ll be here waiting.

He holds up his hands in the air as he leaves,

only to blow a kiss just for me to keep.

And I said,

Save all those kisses for me.  Save all those kisses for me.

I don’t care where you’ll travel or even if you’ll cross all seven seas.

You just save all those kisses for me.

Seventeen years went by without a word of any kind.

I waited with his picture until another occupied my time.

I finally confessed I had broke my promise.

He said he was leaving and sailed off into the distance.

Save all those kisses for me.  Save all those kisses for me.

I don’t care where you’ll travel or even if you’ll cross all seven seas.

You just save all those kisses for me.

As I gazed out, two pictures in my hand.

Over the horizon a ship approaching land.

I stared in disbelief at my two men.

Their arms held out blowing kisses to me again.

And I said,

Save all those kisses for me.  Save all those kisses for me.

I don’t care where you’ll travel or even if you’ll cross all seven seas.

You just save all those kisses for me.

I bowed my head to thank the Lord above

for he has brought back to me

my husband and my son.

Save all those kisses for me.  Save all those kisses for me.

I don’t care where you’ll travel or even if you’ll cross all seven seas.

You just save all those kisses for me.
