I didn't know that. I do now! According to the Japanese and Chinese, this is the most beautiful place in the world, and it was explained by the local natives (The Kanaks are a Melanesian people, culturally distinct from the Polynesian cultures of Tahiti, Hawaii and New Zealand) that we were here to make a video for my upcoming album release. Frenchman and the island's most famous singer, Jean-Luc Leroux, accompanied me on my journey agreeing to make the video and to show me the sacred sites known only to locals in which to make the video for "Music and Beach." Excerpt from Amy Ames' Diary on November 21, 2017 · Isle Of Pines in New Caledonia for her "Northbound Train World Tour" "Claude the driver picked us up at the boat and brought us to our rooms. The girl behind the desk said she saw me on TV and that my private hut is right on the beach. Whoooohooooo!!!! We filmed right off of my balcony looking over the lagoon. Then we traveled to several other lagoons on the Isle of Pines for a good place to video, but the sky was cloudy, and the turquoise of this Pacific secret paradise, was barely showing. We needed full sun for that. Since this was my first time on this remote island, I was unaware of the sacred areas of the tribe here. I did not know that at 2:06 of this video would be a shot at "Taboo Rock." Taboo Rock was beautiful and a site very few Americans witnessed personally. I was very, very thankful to be here. I closed my eyes and thought how lucky I was to grace this amazing virgin island. It was then that a ray of sunshine appeared through the clouds landing on Taboo Rock and shining on me. Excitement came over me to finally be able to see the stunning hues of blues on this ever so clear turquoise lagoon." And there's more, a lot more to come.............. Verse 1

Under the sun of the tropics

My fingers run on my guitar

The sweet caress erotic winds

Lead my thoughts to a winking star

Chorus

Music and beach are so romantic

Bringing the reef to its knees

The songs and dunes blend in like magic

Enchanting of life oh so discreet

Verse 2

Below the shadow of the coconuts

The sheets of music ride the sand

The tide carries his hat out to sea

Seducing an invite to dance

Verse 3

Mermaids dance in their splendor

In the reflections of the lagoon

Melodic waves like chorus girls

High stepping on a honeymoon

Chorus

Music and beach are so romantic

Bringing the reef to its knees

The songs and dunes blend in like magic

Enchanting of life oh so discreet
