From the recording Skinny and Fatty

I have this painting from the 18th century.  It's a portrait of a large, curvy lady.  Back in that time peiriod, she was considered royalty.  That's how this song started.

Lyrics

Skinny and Fatty
She likes to look at the paintings from the 18th century
With voluptuous curves and plump bodies
of big beautiful ladies sitting posed and sweet.
That’s the time she wished she lived
Back when fat meant you were prosperous.
Oh no, she can’t give in.
She’s got to accept herself within.

Skinny and fatty were lying in bed.
Fatty rolled over now skinny is dead.
It’s the happiest she’s ever been, so long skinny cause fat is in.

Now when she looks at a magazine,
She realizes she could never be thin.
So she takes out a pen and begins
to add some blubber and a double chin.
She can’t change what’s around.
She finally accepts her gift from God.
It’s the culture that has to shift.
And the 18th century will again begin.

Skinny and fatty were lying in bed.
Fatty rolled over now skinny is dead.
It’s the happiest she’s ever been, so long skinny cause fat is in.

She likes to look at the paintings from the 18th century
With voluptuous curves and plump bodies
of big beautiful ladies sitting posed and sweet.

Skinny and fatty were lying in bed.
Fatty rolled over now skinny is dead.
It’s the happiest she’s ever been, so long skinny cause fat is in.
Skinny and fatty were lying in bed.
Fatty rolled over now skinny is dead.
It’s the happiest she’s ever been, so long skinny cause fat is in.
