Amy's 8th album was released Dec. 29, 2025 on all the major platforms, and it included 3 new signature comedy songs! Since November of 2024, Amy has been Reverbnation.com No. 1 Comedy/Singer/Songwriter in the world!

Texas singer/songwriter Amy Ames’ songs are so catchy even the barnyard critters dance along. Yes, she writes her own songs and is known as "The Queen of Tongue and Cheek" & " A Female Ray Stevens" (minus the political) due to her witty and clever endings. Her previous albums, "Do Drop In" and “Amy Ames” had hundreds of radio downloads in the first week alone.

Amy started her rise in the music industry in 2011 with the song, No Beer Here, from her self titled album being picked up and played by over 900 radio stations in the USA alone along with hundreds of radio stations around the globe. However a bigger craze came in Europe with her hit, "Bedroom Blues!" Starting in Sweden as a popular line-dance song, it spread like hot cakes around the world in the line-dance communities. She then followed it up in 2013 with her 5th album, "Do Drop In." After that in 2014, Ames recorded her 6th album at the legendary Burn’s Recording Studio in Nashville. The first track on that CD, "New Life," became Ames’ 11th song to hit on the CMR’s Nashville Top 40 and, thus, started her on her world tour journey through Europe and the South Pacific.

In 2023, Amy said bye, bye to touring and returned to Texas to pursue a solo comedy show with her signature comedy songs. She is currently Reverbnation's No. 1 comedy artist in the world.

In the fall of 2025, Ames entered the "Hear No Evil Recording Studio" in Orange, CA. At first, the producer, Elliot, and his sidekick, Jake Not from State Farm, were quite business like with Ames. Amy heard later that they underestimated her since the first 2 songs recorded were about playing on the playground and saving a rare bird called the Kagu. The producing and recording of her first lineup of songs was very cordial and professional until Amy pulled out her comedy songs. Then all hell broke loose. The studio was on a buzz! One of her last sessions, Ames arrived to an open door with both Elliot and Jake raving about being a big star or something on that order. Amy's reply, "If these songs become a hit, it's because you guys made it possible!"

Today, Ames is finding other avenues instead of going back on stage after saying she was done with touring. She's currently going between Texas and California supporting her kids who are also musicians. Her big dream is to produce a comedy TV show featuring her and her kids.
